Our Annual Rosh Hashana Dinner:

We warmly invite you to a special Rosh Hashana dinner hosted by Chabad at the Williamsburg Community Center, an evening that promises both joy and reflection. This gathering is an opportunity to come together in celebration of the New Year and to honor the rich traditions that make this holiday so meaningful. Our evening will commence with the lighting of candles, a cherished ritual that ushers in the festival with a sense of peace and sanctity.

Following this, we will be led in traditional Rosh Hashana prayer services, which will help us reflect on the past year and set our intentions for the year to come. As the evening unfolds, you will have the chance to partake in a festive meal featuring classic Rosh Hashana delicacies. Enjoy the sweetness of round challah, symbolizing the continuity and unity of the Jewish people, and savor the taste of pomegranates, which represent our hope for a year filled with abundant Mitzvot and blessings.

This dinner is not only a celebration of the New Year but also a testament to the growth and strength of our community. We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones, extending a heartfelt invitation to students, families, and visitors alike. Your presence, along with that of your children, parents, and relatives, enriches our gathering and underscores the spirit of togetherness that defines us. May this Rosh Hashana bring new beginnings, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of community.

Sincerely,

Rabbi Mendy and Esther Heber
